Great Leader

Pay it forward, treat others as you wish to be treated, value your employees and show them that they are valued – give and you will get given multiples in turn. It is not what you say, but what you do that matters. To be a great leader, be authentic, do what you say you will do and treat everyone as you wish to be treated.  Its simple really..

The true measure of a leader is how they treat their employees, not their equals..

Great Boss

I couldn’t agree with this more!  In my experience, I have found that great bosses create fantastic cultures that attract the best team members.  An interesting statistic sited in this article from an unreferenced study is that 65% of employees would prefer a great boss to an increase in salary.  I know for myself this is true, given a choice I would rather be working for, and with, great people than getting an annual increase in wages.  It is the intrinsic and non-cash social rewards that are becoming more and more important to employees.

A good boss appreciates his employees…
